Safer Places are a registered charity and like many other domestic abuse services, we operate on low budgets. Some of our vital, lifesaving services rely entirely on the generosity of the public and we could not deliver the support we do without that support. We’re always looking for people to raise our profile in the communities we serve and beyond to help us reach as many people as we can and to bring in vital donations that support us to support survivors.

If you have great communication skills, love to network or are a keen fundraiser then this is the role for you.

There are lots of different opportunities for fundraising and awareness volunteers depending on what roles suit you best. A fundraising and awareness volunteer might be able to introduce us to local businesses, place and collect our collection tins around communities and help our fundraising team with events. If you're a confident speaker you might help promote the work of Safer Places by speaking to local clubs and associations about our work and the impact that it has and ways they can support us.
