Vacancies at Safer Places
Safer Places is an ambitious organisation; we are ambitious for the clients we work with, for our service and for the people who make up Safer Places – which could include you. We are a progressive Domestic Abuse Support Service, passionate about reaching and supporting all victims of domestic abuse on the basis of risk, need and choice. We take, but don’t wait for referrals, we get alongside our partners in the community often on a co-located or embedded basis, raising awareness and reaching clients and working with colleagues on a multiagency basis to deliver an effective response as early as possible. We understand that different groups have different needs and may be more or less reluctant to come forward and we are continually developing our services to ensure that they are accessible and acceptable to all those who need them. We want to reach and support people when they most need us so we operate 24 hours a day, running IDVA and Community based support services. We have a range of accommodation also which can be part of the support package including refuges, accommodation for male victims and specialist accommodation. We offer a wide range of additional services including group programmes, counselling, legal support and a range of specialist services in addition to the services you would normally expect a domestic abuse service to offer. Please watch this space for future vacancies.
