Fleeing your home and moving into refuge can be daunting and traumatic for survivors and their children. Many women will have fled with only a few basics, others arrive with nothing at all. To make families feel at home, we always provide a welcome pack with a few essentials and a gift for their children – a worry teddy or something the older children can call their own.

Like many other refuges, we operate on a low budget and the families that access our services are often without funds. Your donations make an incredible difference – not only do they provide women and children with essentials but you send a message – you believe and support them.

We are unable to accept some items due to health and safety reasons so we’ve created a list of what donations we can receive and which we are unable to accept.
