Coercive behaviour is an act or a pattern of acts of assault, threats, humiliation and intimidation or other abuse that is used to harm, punish or frighten their victim. Identifying risk correctly is absolutely vital in order to address risk and increase survivor safety. Anyone using the DASH RIC tool with survivors should be trained and accredited to use the DASH Risk model. This training will give you an understanding of the dynamics of abuse, stalking and so called 'honour based abuse' (HBA).
